MY PRACTICE

Exploring the dreamlike and ethereal aspects of life resonate with me. Visual arts have always been at the heart of what I do, using mediums like painting, sculpture, and installation art to express my thoughts, feelings and societal observations. My work is multi-faceted, I organise my work into 'houses' each representing different themes such as dreams, time, life, nature, or lines. I have combined elements from different houses, like 'Where the House of Lines meets with the House of Dreams. My work often delves into the subconscious, using methods like painting memories with my eyes closed to tap into deeper layers of consciousness. This helps me create art that resonates emotionally. I often take 'cues' from nature to explore narratives. I draw regularly on walks, to stay tuned into my practice.
